When a rogue wave capsizes a luxury cruise ship in the middle of the North Atlantic Ocean, a small group of survivors find themselves unlikely allies in a battle for their lives. The film, Poseidon, stars Josh Lucas, Kurt Russell, Jacinda Barrett, Andre Braugher, Richard Dreyfuss.

I was there to shoot some video and photos. Being an F-list freelance photographer and videographer meant that I got to stand with the common people (i.e. as far away from the celebrities as possible, with moving traffic between myself and the celebrities exiting their limos on the other side of the street. Its not fun to focus your camera for a shot only to have a moving auto take the place of the celebrity you were planning to shoot.)
The best scenes in the video occurred when Josh Lucas, Jacinda Barrett, and Jon Voigt, were kind enough to cross the street despite the traffic and acknowledge fans by signing autographs. Emmy Rossum also crossed the street to sign autographs, but her sojourn the plebian side of the street was so hurried I didn't have an opportunity to capture her beauty on video. She did look very lovely.
I did apply for a press pass for this event, but was told that 'The red carpet is full'. Full for a newcomer to the celebrity photo business, of course. Sigh.
Celebrities at Mood Wednesday night included Bob Saget, Kelly Stables, Sean Stewart (Rod Stewart's son), Vince Young and Alex from Laguna Beach.

Virgin Mega Store LA held a fashion show May 3, 2006. Celebrities in attendance were Jody Watley, Farrah Fath, Kristen Storms, Adrian Bellani, Katherine Owen, Kaya Jones (formerly of the Pussykat Dolls), CeCe Deville with girlfriend Shannon Malone, Kelly Stables, Jackie Watson, and Colin Mc Dowell.

Over The Hedge is an animated comedy starring the voices of Wanda Sykes, Bruce Willis, Avril Lavigne, Garry Shandling, Steve Carell, Catherine O'Hara, William Shatner, Eugene Levy, Allison Janney, and Nick Nolte. The film premiered in Westwood in late April. Below are some photos from the event.
